Anniversary Poem

On 27th day of the month of Adar in the year 5764,
Two flames became one,
Joined together in the holy covenant of marriage.
Soul mates,
Leaving both father and mother,
Clinging to each other and to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
“Where you go I will go,” said the Bride.
“In love and safety will I lead you,” said the Groom.
Two lives converged and have never been the same,
Through the good times and the hard times, the covenant remains
Until our souls return to the One Who gave them.
May our love continue to grow stronger;
May our home always be filled with peace and laughter,
And may we constantly acknowledge the One Who holds us together.
